Who should I call if I have
a question?
Questions about procedures or activities are best
answered by calling the school. For general information, call the School Office
at 650.359.4544.
What are school hours?
Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and students are dismissed at 3:00 p.m.
On "Minimum" Mondays (usually the 1st and 3rd Mondays of
each month, see the
School Calendar) classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and students are
dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
Is
Good Shepherd School
accredited?
Good Shepherd School is accredited by WASC and WCEA. Continued accreditation
involves periodic reevaluation by committees of outside educators as
well as self-study by the principal and school staff.
When are report cards sent
home?
All students receive report cards 4 times per year, at the end of
each quarter.

What grading system do
you use?
Students are evaluated according to the SF Archdiocesan
grading system:
A =
93-100
B = 84-92.9
C = 70-83.9
D = 60-69.9
F = 59.9 and below |
What does it cost to eat at
school?
Hot lunch is served daily at a cost of $3, which includes choice
of beverage. Snacks and milk are available for purchase during morning
and lunch recess. Menus are
posted monthly on the web site. Lunch tickets may be purchased at
the School Office.
At what age can my child
start school?
To enter kindergarten,
students must be five by December 1. Please call the School Office at

requirements.

Does the school provide a
before / after school program for students?
The school offers an Extended Care Program for all students at an
additional hourly cost. Extended Care hours begin at 7:00 a.m. and end
at 6:00 p.m.
